The special feature of these new gimbal heads is that they can be folded up compactly so that they do not take up much space on long trips. Additional threaded holes on the swivel arm allow accessories to be mounted. Thanks to the panorama scale and the spirit level, the head can also be used for single and multi-line panoramic shots.

They are available in two versions: The PG-2 offers a maximum load capacity of 25 kg. The PG-2S offers a maximum load capacity of 15 kg.

Leofoto uses high-quality 6061-T6 aluminium alloy with magnesium and silicon as alloy components for the metal parts. This corrosion-resistant material is characterised by high strength and good toughness. The yield strength is comparable to that of structural steel. All parts are milled from solid material on state-of-the-art CNC machines and are therefore significantly more stable than cast parts. Leofoto makes no compromises here either !
